Groupe Mousset becomes a sponsor of the “FSE” Chair

Audencia and the Groupe Mousset have just signed a sponsorship agreement on Friday 17 of July at Audencia Campus Vendée in La Roche-sur-Yon to support the “Family and Society Entrepreneurship” Chair. The Chair is a useful place for research, sharing knowledge and best practices in the service of family businesses. Covering four years, the support between the two entities will begin on the 1st of January 2021.

Audencia’s “Family and Society Entrepreneurship” chair, created in June 2013, is the only research chair in France related to Family Entrepreneurship. As the French pilot of the global STEP (Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices) project, the Chair aims to strengthen the legitimacy, reputation and attractiveness of family businesses as an entrepreneurial driver among public authorities, researchers and the general public. On the strength of this unique position in France, the Chair is part of a rapid development dynamic in research and training as well as in terms of its commitment to family businesses. It is in line with this dynamic that the sponsorship agreement with Groupe Mousset was signed, and is now being carried out within Audencia Campus Vendée.

The Chair’s expertise concerns in particular the entrepreneurial, sociopsychological and relational dimension of the transmission and management of family businesses. These are all dimensions that have attracted the Groupe Mousset, a family business with an international reputation in the transport sector. Today, Groupe Mousset offers highly specialised transport solutions to meet its customers’ expectations and explore new markets, both in France and abroad.

Miruna Radu-Lefebvre, holder of the “Family and Society Entrepreneurship” Chair, explains the details of the collaboration: “I am very pleased with the signing of this partnership with Groupe Mousset, whose we admire the success and its desire to preserve a family DNA through the sharing of strong common values with all the company’s stakeholders. Starting next year, we will explore together the issue of the employer-brand, in order to understand the emotional drivers and identification with the company and its destiny among employees of family businesses”.

The sponsorship is planned over 4 years, starting January 1, 2021, and amounts to €200,000.
