Christophe Germain, Dean of Audencia, and Laurence Poirier-Dietz, CEO of GRDF, have signed a partnership aimed at responding more effectively to the environmental and social challenges facing GRDF. Recognised for its work in the field of corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR), Audencia’s Positive Impact Chair is a concrete illustration of the possible and necessary synergies between the business world and higher education. This four-year partnership will provide GRDF with strategic support for its CSR strategy. It also aims to develop educational and research projects related to energy issues, particularly in connection with the development of biomethane, a renewable gas, to which GRDF is committed.
Supporting entrepreneurship
As a source of innovation, economic vitality and social development, entrepreneurship is an important factor in economic growth, which is why the Audencia Foundation is committed, alongside the School, to the implementation of a range of measures to promote business creation.
The Foundation supports:
- The Centrale-Audencia-Ensa Nantes business incubator, which offers students and graduates support with business creation by providing them with a place to work, logistical resources, skills and supervision
- Research projects on entrepreneurship by the School’s professors
- Student entrepreneurs, giving them a helping hand through scholarships
