The Sirius course is a reinforcement year offered to high school students in the Nantes metropolitan area and in rural areas of the Pays de la Loire and Brittany after obtaining a technical baccalauréat*.
Many professional baccalaureate graduates enter the world of work, sometimes by default, afraid of not being able to undertake higher education. This free year is an opportunity to consolidate their skills and regain their self-assurance. This free reinforcement year is an opportunity to undertake higher education after a technical baccalaureate.
What next? At the end of the Sirius course, students will have the opportunity to integrate Audencia’s Bachelor in Management at a lower cost which confers the degree of BA degree. Students will be examined according to the same admission tests as all students, but their applications will be monitored and examined separately.
*Tertiary sector : commerce, sales, management, administration, logistics and reception.
Content of the course
From September to May, students follow a specific course developed to reveal their potential.
Reinforcement of learning outcomes
Courses in general culture, mathematics, geopolitics, economics, methodology (note-taking, timetabling, etc.), written communication etc.
English lessons, trips and meetings with Audencia’s international students, school trip to a European capital, participation in international events within Nantes…
Coaching by professionals to acquire the rules of the professional world, HR support workshops, mentoring by students, training in public speaking, etc.
Social, cultural and professional opening
Cultural visits, company visits, mentoring by professionals, immersive internship…
The tuition fees for the Sirius course are entirely covered by Audencia, via its Foundation. Students also have the possibility to apply for a cost of living grant based on social and geographical criteria to help them in their daily life.
Scholarship students who enter the Bachelor’s programme at the end of the Sirius course will benefit from financial aid of up to 90% of their studies for the first year and the continuation of their cost of living grants throughout their studies. Then, they will be able to follow their 2nd and 3rd years on an apprenticeship contract.

The cost of the course is estimated at €10,000 per student per year and includes :
